SPEAKERS
Dr. Adi Zuloff-Shani is a biomedical research and development executive with over 20 years of strategic and operational leadership in the healthcare industry, and a deep understanding of therapeutics development in heavily regulated environments.
Pamela is a MD and the medical lead of the Roots To Thrive Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Programs that treats people with PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use challenges, disordered eating and people with end of life distress. She is a founding board member of the PAC and the Medical Chair of the Vancouver Island University Post Graduate Certificate in Psychedelic Medicine assisted Therapy. Ongoing research includes psilocybin, MDMA, ketamine, front line healthcare workers and first responders mental wellness.
Erika is a Professor and a Canada Research Chair in the History of Health & Social Justice at the University of Saskatchewan. She is the author of Psychedelic Psychiatry; A Culture’s Catalyst: Historical Encounters with Peyote and the Native American Church in Canada; Psychedelic Prophets: The Letters of Aldous Huxley and Humphry Osmond; and The Acid Room: the psychedelic trials and tribulations of Hollywood Hospital. She is the guest editor of the Chacruna series on women in the history of psychedelic plant medicines.

Shannon Smadella is an award-winning social entrepreneur and business strategist with deep experience in psychedelic advocacy and organizational leadership. A former board member of MAPS Canada, spokesperson and operations director of World Psychedelics Day, and co-director of the International Psychedelics Awareness Foundation, she has hosted hundreds of interviews with leaders in psychedelic research and policy. She is currently completing her MBA, and oversees community development for Clearmind Medicine.
